California drivers are ranked among the worst!

As we begin to look forward into 2025, we can’t help but notice how California has so many bad drivers.

While we all know this deep down, a recent study confirmed it. According to this report, California is the state with the second-highest amount of accidents. The same report states that California has the highest amount of DUIs in the nation.

Is this something we want to be known for here in the Golden State!? Of course not!

Earlier this year, my office settled a substantial case involving a hit-and-run to a bicyclist. The cyclist was hit in broad daylight, and the offending driver just drove off without even stopping. We can’t help but question the moral standards of someone who would do something like that.

Luckily in that case, my client (the cyclist) was properly insured. He had a substantial amount of uninsured motorist coverage, and he was protected and compensated by his own insurance company.

We all know that insurance rates are rising all across the board. Nevertheless, as we begin to turn the page on 2024, it’s a good time to review your insurance coverage and make sure you and your family are properly insured. If you have questions in this regard, you know who to call.
