Pedestrian Collisions on the Freeway: Stay in your Car!

This morning I read some very troubling news that occurred on the 105 freeway.A motorist whose car became disabled got out of her car.  Shortly thereafter, she was struck by a passing car and killed. This tragic story brings to light the advice of law enforcement in situations like these.According to the California Highway Patrol, if your car becomes disabled on the freeway, you should wait in the car with your seatbelt on until help arrives.CHP also advises that, if you must get out of your car while it is pulled over to the side, exit the car on the passenger side only.Remember too, to turn on your hazard lights if your car is disabled.Let's hope tragedies like these do not repeat themselves. For questions about your Los Angeles freeway accident case, the Rabbi Lawyer is ready to assist, 24/6.
